One Day Introductory Dog Course

I would like to introduce you to a wonderful course that is on offer to all canine enthusiasts – it can benefit everyone who is in contact with dogs, from pet owners to show dog owners, and everyone in between.

The cost of the 6-hour course is only $250 – and you will learn 4 corrections for dogs, and 2 corrections for humans. 

Ross Emmett has developed this short course due to public demand and kept the hours down and the price low - so that it is accessible to everyone, as an option for people who aren’t necessarily interested in completing the practitioner course of EMMETT 4 Dogs, but just want to learn some simple and effective moves to help the pooches they are in contact with. 

All the moves taught in this short course are taken from the professional course.

We envisage the course starting at 9am and finishing around 3-3:30pm, depending on breaks required. The corrections we have chosen to present for the short course cover the main areas of restrictions for dogs:

• Neck rotation
• Shoulder movement
• Hind leg restriction in forward movement (short-stepping)
• Relieve back roaching/stiffness

And for humans:

• Forearm release (to improve grip strength, rotation and coordination)
• Neck release (to improve rotation of neck, and relieve stiffness)
• (Both of these moves are invaluable to dog handlers, and also friends and members of your family!)
